**IMPORTANT UPDATE**
The original date of 30th June for the validity of British Driving Licences here in Spain has now been extended for an additional 4 months until 31 October 2021.
Negotiations between Spain and the United Kingdom are still underway to mutually recognise driving licences, and we will keep you updated on any future agreement.
Please note that if upon returning to the UK to live, British Citizens can contact DVLA to have their British Licence renewed.
